Level 1
survey
A RICS Level 1 Survey, also known as a Condition Report, is designed for newer or conventionally built properties in good condition. It provides a concise overview of a property’s condition, highlighting potential risks or urgent issues without extensive detail. Using a simple traffic-light rating system, the survey identifies areas requiring attention while reassuring buyers of the property’s overall state. Ideal for those seeking a basic assessment, this survey does not include valuations or detailed advice but offers peace of mind and clarity before purchase. It’s a cost-effective option for straightforward properties with minimal anticipated maintenance concerns.
